This new office and service facility at 6715 N Smith Road was designed to blend in with its rural county setting and nearby residential development, west of Peoria and south of I-74.

The brick base and low profile of the building successfully reduce the apparent scale of this commercial property, with parking surrounding all sides of the building.

The interior plan provided for generous open office workspace, as well as conference rooms, individual offices and a large map reading room to serve area farmers who utilize this facility for multiple government programs.

The construction is primarily wood-framed, with long-span wood truss rafters designed to provide additional attic storage.
